I’m no ordinary volleyball. I’m a ball that’s been around. Once I was deflated, living in a box and pondering my shelf life. I’ve had sand kicked on me and once I was even left behind. But all that’s changed. Since joining the Netshops Netters volleyball team people say I have a new bounce. I guess that happens when you join a winning team. The experience hasn’t over-inflated me. At 4.3 psi I’m flatteringly firm, not flashy. From the opening serve to match point, my teammates think I’m aces. They say I make the setter better, while putting the thump in the bump and thrill in the kill. Sure, I’ve had my ups and downs, but becoming part of the NetShops Netters has changed my life. I’m now what I was always meant to be – round and proud.
