I run a sports association so I needed something "portable". This is very sturdy - don't get me wrong. I filled it with pebbles so sand would not leak out. It did not come with sand. The tank is 40" so it will not fit through normal outside doors - unless facility has double doors. So you have to pick up and turn sideways - very heavy and awkward to maneuver - takes 2 people. Pole was not 8' - it was 10' so I had to cut it. But once set up - that base didn't move - even with girls practicing digs into the net. I also put rubber feet (2) from a local hardware store on the front cross-piece because of using it on wood gym floors - scratching.
